Bernard Bragg Papers

Over the years, Bernard Bragg saved elements of his life in files, folders, and boxes: correspondence, posters, handbills, scripts, and other papers related to various aspects of his career as an educator, actor, writer, director, artist, and poet. A student of history as well as the arts, Bragg has donated his papers to archives across the country.

The majority of his papers are now at the Gallaudet University Archives in Washington, D.C. He has also bequested smaller portions and copies of his papers to two other universities: the Deaf collections at CSUN NCOD and NTID/RIT.

Additional materials, including paintings and other artwork, will be donated to Gallaudet University and NTID/RIT upon Bragg’s demise.

Researchers and scholars may contact the respective libraries for further information.
